Invent Evidence
We will never backdate, fabricate, or ‘reconstruct’ records. If the evidence doesn't exist, we say so — and build it properly going forward.

Anyone can claim rigor. This page exists so you can hold us to it. Our quality policy is the set of principles every ValidLeaf engagement runs on — written plainly, without consultant-speak. If you ever catch us violating it, we want to hear about it.
Quality policies usually live in a binder nobody reads. Ours is public, short, and specific — because the standard we hold your facility to should apply to our work first.
Boundaries are part of quality. These are ours.
We will never backdate, fabricate, or ‘reconstruct’ records. If the evidence doesn't exist, we say so — and build it properly going forward.
We don't sign off on validation we didn't verify. Our name on a protocol means we did the work — not that we glanced at your PDF.
If a two-week targeted fix solves it, we won't propose a four-week assessment. Scoping is honest, or it's marketing.
Your facility, your data, your name — none of it appears in our marketing, proposals to others, or articles without your written permission. Ever.
Four principles, applied to every project regardless of size.
We record the facility as it operates, not as the SOP wishes it did. Gap registers describe reality — that's what makes them useful.
Findings are ranked by consumer risk and inspection exposure, so your limited budget fixes what matters first.
Templates, routines, and registers are built for your team to run after we leave — not to require us back.
If leadership's pet project is the problem, it's in the report. Polite consulting that hides the real finding is expensive theater.

Cannabis is our home base — the method was built there first. The same evidence discipline serves each industry below, mapped to its own regulations.
Preventive controls, supplier verification, environmental monitoring, and traceability under 21 CFR Part 117 and FSMA.
Component qualification, master manufacturing records, and laboratory controls under 21 CFR Part 111.
Safety substantiation, GMP records, and adverse-event readiness under MoCRA.
Preventive controls for animal food, supplier programs, and sanitation under 21 CFR Part 507.
ValidLeaf Consulting as a practice — every deliverable is reviewed against this policy before it reaches you. If something doesn't meet it, it doesn't ship.
Both, deliberately. We follow your document control, training, and change procedures on your site — and this policy governs the integrity of the work itself.
We show you the evidence behind it and listen. If the evidence supports your position, the finding changes. If it doesn't, the finding stands — with the reasoning documented.
We correct them, document the correction, and tell you. A consultant who can't model deviation handling shouldn't be advising on yours.
Our commitments on confidentiality, evidence integrity, and honest scoping are written into every statement of work. The rest is how we hold ourselves accountable day to day.
If these principles match how you want validation done, start with a conversation — we'll show you what they look like in practice.
